Medical issues

In the event of an accident or illness resulting in hospitalisation or a change to travel arrangements, CEGA Emergency Services must be contacted immediately on +44 1243 621 525. This is a 24 hour service.

The following information will need to be provided to the CEGA agent who handles the call:

1. Certificate No: Very important

3. Phone No: The telephone number you are calling from
4. Location: The name of the hospital and the doctor treating the injured/ill person and telephone number of the hospital.

Failure to consult with CEGA and act in accordance with their instructions may prejudice the claim. All such costs, including repatriation, will only be covered where they have been authorised and approved by CEGA.

After speaking with CEGA Emergency Services please call Verif-i and alert them to the situation.

Verif-i emergency contact

A Verif-i Duty Manager can be contacted at all times should emergencies affecting Verif-i personnel need to be dealt with outside normal office hours.

Step 1
Please make sure you have the following information:

  • the nature of the emergency and who is involved
  • the type of support required from us (medevac, urgent flight bookings etc.)
  • your name and your telephone and email contact details

During office hours (Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00 UK time)
Listen to the message and press "2" to speak to a member of staff who will be able to take the details and pass them on to the relevant person.

Outside office hours
Calls are answered with an automated "Out of Hours" message. Please press "1" to connect to the Duty Manager and they will deal with your emergency.
