Verif-i is closely monitoring developments concerning the coronavirus pandemic and is taking all necessary steps to ensure the well being of employees and to prevent any potential business impact. Verif-i updated its employees on further measures to stem the spread of the coronavirus and ensure business continuity. Managing Director Kevin Sweetman would like to share the following message:
Coronavirus outbreak: we will get through this together
We know that we are all watching the development of the coronavirus pandemic with feelings of concern and uncertainty. We all – the Verif-i family and the world in general – are in uncharted territory, and it is important that we remain calm, show solidarity and stand by each other in this difficult time.
We are tracking the information provided by public health agencies such as the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE), World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP). Utilizing their guidance, we are taking precautions to protect our employees and our customers.
To protect you and your families, our business, and the communities we live and work in, we are encouraging our employees to take appropriate precautions as suggested by governing authorities and healthcare officials. This means that as many colleagues as possible are asked to work from home. By doing so, we will live up to our social responsibility to prevent the virus spreading further, while ensuring the business continuity that supports and enables our customers and the economies, we operate in.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience as we realize that working from home may come with some issues based on your situations; everyone involved is doing everything we can to minimize the disruption to the way we work and connect with our clients.
Please be reassured that we are open and operating while actively monitoring the situation. We assure you that Verif-i will continue to operate and serve all our clients with the same level of professionalism and attention to detail.
We hope everyone is staying safe and being careful.
