The Q4 2015 Update
Always good to kick a new project off as we have done this week, even more so in the current climate. This particular example is a true success story of investing in technical training, engaging with our client then going out to deliver the project combining extensive experience with new skills taught on our in-house course.
On another note, to buck the trend of recent times we are now engaged on more land projects than off-shore, hopefully a good sign that players are looking at the longer term trade off on development costs V’s survey costs between land (generally higher survey costs) and marine (generally higher development costs) exploration and are balancing their portfolio’s with both. I think it is fair to say that the more exploration activity the happier the entire readership of this newsletter is, client, consultant or contractor so I for one will be certainly raising a glass or two over the next few weeks to a busy (if not a little challenging) 2016
As always a big thank you to the consultants that have delivered for us over the year, last minute mobilisations (you know who you are!), technically and geographically challenging projects and all with lower rates thrown into the mix. Thankyou from all the Verif-i team.
Thank you also to the clients we have worked with this year many new and many that we have worked with consistently over the years. We are in the process of launching two new service offerings in the coming weeks so we will be in touch soon to update with further information.
Here’s to a happy and busy Christmas and New Year!
